Abstract

[Objective]To understand the situation of drinking water quality of rural life in Malipo County,so as to further improve drinking water quality of life for rural residents, and provide relevant government departments with scientific decision-making and the development of related scientific basis for planning.[Methods]In 2009,the water quality was monitored and evaluated in 29 safety rural drinking water established in'Eleventh Five-Year'period projects in the high-flow period of dry season.[Results]A total of 116 water samples were monitored,58 samples were respectively selected in the low-flow period and wet season. There were 19 monitoring indicators. The qualified rate of the whole project was 8.62%;The qualified rate of sensory indicators, general chemical indicators, indicators of toxicological and microbiological indicators were 68.1%,69.0%,97.4% and 15.5%,respectively;The indicator with lowest qualified rate were total coliforms(15.5%).The qualified rates of low-flow period and wet season were compared by χ2 test(P﹤0.05),which indicated that the water quality was better than that in wet period.[Conclusion]The rural drinking water protection in the county is poor, and there are no purification and disinfection facilities, and the microbiological pollution is serious, and the relevant departments should strengthen supervision and management to ensure that the safety of drinking water.
