Abstract
The tropical crops genetic resources, which play a key role in tropical crop industry development, are considered as the basic materials for germplasm innovation and crop breeding. In order to fully understand the original distribution, collection and preservation situation of the tropical crop germplasm resources worldwide, the relevant information of cassava, rubber tree, banana, mango and other 8 important tropical crops was obtained through literature inquiry, expert advice and other ways. Finally, the collection and conservation situation of tropical crops in China was predicted.
