Abstract

【Objective】The objective of this study was to investigate land production potential of main crops in Baise City in oroler to provide references for expanding their potential.【Method】The light and temperature production potential of main crop was estimated using the agro-ecological zones method,then the climate production potential of main crop was estimated on the basis of the production potential of light and temperature and the moisture correction coefficient,finally the land production potential of main crop was estimated on the basis of the climate production potential and land quality coefficient.【Result 】Rice had the highest production potential of light and temperature,climate and land,followed by maize,soybean and sweet potato.The land production potentials of the four crops were 5466.0,5074.4,2414.3 and 1190.5 kg/ha,respectively.【Conclusion】Land production potential of main crops in Baise City was relatively low.To increase the land production potential of main crops in Baise City,the following measures must be taken,i.e.optimizing the structure of main crop varieties,introducing new crop varieties with high yield and quality,increasing soil fertility,strengthening fertilization and irrigation management,and advancing the construction of agricultural infrastructure such as irrigation and water conservancy.
