Abstract

This research is performed in order to test the influence of the variables Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) Non Performing Loans (NPL), and toward Return On Assets (ROA) . Population in this research used foreign exchange commercial banks during period 2014 through 2018 listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia. Samples were obtained from Bursa Efek Indonesia, using purpose sampling method to obtain 24 samples of companies. The data used in this research were secondary data, multiple linear regression analysis. These results indicate that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) variable does not have a significant effect on Return On Asset (ROA), while Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) does not have a significant effect on Return On Asset (ROA) and Non Performing Loan has a significant effects on Return On Asset (ROA). The implication of this study was high value of CAR and LDR, will affect the decrease in profit (ROA). The implication of this study was high value of CAR and LDR, wil affect the decrease in profit (ROA) if capital and credit are not channeled optimally by bank management.
