Abstract
This paper discusses the identification methods for nonlinear systems. Using the Newton method and the iterative technique the Newton-based iterative algorithm is derived to determine the parameters of the nonlinear systems. In addition, in order to improve the computational efficiency, the Newton iterative algorithm based on the model transformation is derived. The basic principle is to transform a complex nonlinear system into a linear or simple nonlinear system. Finally, a numerical example is given to analyze the proposed methods.
