Abstract

The principle and structure of DMFC(direct methanol fuel cell)was introduced and compared with more developed hydrogen fuel cell. The status of performance and cost of DMFC was discussed with respect to the portable fuel cell commercialization targets. The study process of anode catalyst and electrolyte membrane was emphatically elaborated.
