Grain legumes are damaged by several numbers of insect species in the field and storage. The indiscriminate use of insecticides causes environmental health hazards and insect resistance. Therefore, there is a need to adopt eco-friendly management practices, manipulation of the crop environment to encourage the activity of natural enemies, use of natural plant products and bio-pesticides alone or in combination with synthetic pesticides, can be exploited for pest management in food legumes
