Abstract

This paper presents the new stage of the SciELO Portugal Service that is configured in its update to align with the central guidelines and integrate new community standards, as examples, the adoption of the SciELO PS based on the JATS-XML format, the availability of research data in repositories of open access and author identifiers. Updating the SciELO Portugal service is one of the objectives of the PUB In Project developed by the University of Minho (UM) in collaboration with the National Scientific Computing Unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT/FCCN). The main developments are the migration of electronic services, the new criteria for admission and integration in the SciELO Portugal Collection and the new publication format instead of HTML
