This research refers to the profile of the visitor of Pelileo and the alternative tourist activities, born from the need and importance of knowing the profile of the tourist who arrives to the city, because the traveler is the mechanism that gives mobility to the tourist system when demanding tourist products or services in a destination. Nowadays, tourism is changing and it is because of this that no matter how little study is carried out in the sector, tourism will help a destination to adapt to the demands, needs and search for the satisfaction that tourists require in their time of stay. For this reason, an investigation has been carried out which consists of a theoretical framework that is based on research background related to the proposed topic, an appropriate methodology was established to collect the data and subsequently analyze the results applying an online survey of 15 questions to 347 people residing outside the city. Finally, the appropriate conclusions and recommendations are indicated to generate tourist solutions or alternatives for the tourist development of Pelileo
