Abstract
For types of leisure activities and life satisfaction of the national athletes, we asked 254 national athletes attending Pusan Asian Game 2002. We used survey sheets based on research by Lee Do-gab(1999) for the types of leisure activities and for life satisfaction, we used survey sheets based on research by Yu Ha-young. For analysis, we used SPSS/PC 10.0, a statistical program and for method of analysis, we used Frequency Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Chi-square, t-test, and ANOVA. Following this procedure, we got results as shown below. Life Satisfaction of the National Athletes according to population statistical characteristics. There are some statistical differences in life satisfaction of age, gender, academic status, marriage status, and monthly income depending on if it`s past of present. According to experience of sports, there are some statistical differences in life satisfaction in the past, present and future. There are also statistical differences in life satisfaction in the past and present according to experience of being a national athlete.
