Abstract

(Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand. 2020;99:660–668) In women with one previous cesarean delivery (CD), the decision to deliver by cesarean or trial of labor can be a difficult one. In Sweden, ∼75% of women choosing a trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC) would have a successful vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). The study aimed to adapt and validate a US prediction model for use in Sweden, adding several important factors and the rate of VBAC in TOLAC for the specific delivery ward.
