Abstract
Abstract A new method for measurement and visualization of structural dynamic vibration characteristics is presented. Using digital shearography as an imaging tool combined with a stroboscopic phase shifting technique for quantitative fringe pattern interpretation, the fullfield modeshape amplitude and phase distribution is calculated. Theory together with experimental verification is discussed.
