Abstract
This work propose a study of the development of technologies for the recovery of a part of the energy previously spent on liquefying a cryoproduct through the use of its low potential heat. This can be achieved by using an energy system operating in a direct thermodynamic cycle, or using a complex of expansion machines. In the work, a mathematical analysis of the energy system based on a multi-stage turbine in complexes using low potential heat of the cryoproduct is carried out. This method allows to determinate the optimal parameters of a multistage expansion system concluding that the values of work will be maximum if the pressure ratios at each stage, and, consequently, useful work at all stages, are the same. The dependences of the cryoproduct flow rate on the heat exchange surface of intermediate heat exchangers are also determined.
