Abstract
An approximation to the probability density function (PDF) of the exponentiated Weibull phase distribution is proposed. PDF curves and average absolute error, between exact and approximate phase PDFs, are presented. A speed up of two orders of magnitude in the time spent to compute the phase PDF is obtained.
