Abstract

The relationship between graphic design and Chinese calligraphy art is mainly reflected in the modernity, competitiveness and national connotation of graphic design. Calligraphy elements have a special position and value in the inheritance of traditional art. Traditional calligraphy elements have a long history of thousands of years in China, while modern graphic design has only a few decades in China. Chinese characters are created for the needs of life, and they gradually form rich structural forms and have certain artistic features in the process of their emergence and development. With the rise of the Chinese nation and the development of Chinese calligraphy art, modern graphic design is strongly required to reflect the strong traditional characteristics and cultural flavor. From the aesthetic point of view of Chinese calligraphy art, this paper analyzes the relationship between modern graphic design and Chinese calligraphy art based on computer image processing method, and points out the integration path of modern graphic design and Chinese calligraphy art.
