How to redraw Bell Beaker networks in Southwestern Europe?

In the middle of the third millennium BCE, at the crossroads between the end of the Neolithic and the beginning of the Bronze Age, the “pan-European” distribution of the Bell Beaker cup questions the link between the Bell Beaker “phenomenon” and the diffusion of Bell Beaker artefacts by “networks”. The purpose of this article is to question the increasing use of Social Network Analysis (SNA) tools in order to formalize and facilitate the study of the mechanisms of Bell Beaker diffusion in Southwestern Europe. After a brief overview of the latest research on the Bell Beaker in south-eastern France (Provençal region) and in the Central Iberian Peninsula and, we propose a reflection on the setting up of a network analysis protocol at the scale of the regions of Provence and Madrid, which are essential areas for the development of the Mediterranean Bell Beaker.
