Abstract

Dr Sharon Lambert gained her PhD from the History Department at Lancaster University. Her doctoral work used oral history to explore the experiences of Irish women in Lancashire in the 20th century. She has published a number of books and articles on oral and social history. She has been involved in a range of community-based oral history projects and has taught history in further and higher education.
