Abstract
Health Informatics or Healthcare Informatics is an information engineering applied to the field of health care, essentially the management and use of patient health information, or we can say health informatics is a combination of health care, computer science and information science. Machine Learning is one of the fastest growing trend in computer science as well as in the field of health care. In the field of Health care, Machine Learning techniques are used for diagnosing and predicting the diseases. This paper presents a review and study of some recent research and applications of machine learning techniques in Health Informatics in order to diagnose and predict the patient’s condition through their data sets.
