Abstract

The CAAV was founded by local associations in 1910 with purposes including the promotion of good practice in tenant right valuation. The tenant right items in Part 2 of the Schedule remain the same. The outgoing tenant&s;s valuer, who is more likely to have more forewarning, should make good use of that time by negotiating with the landlord&s;s agent over the state in which the holding is to be let and the treatment of the tenant&s;s improvements and fixtures. The basic analysis offered previously for tenant&s;s improvements under the 1986 Act applies, save that this time the rent review would be that for an FBT. The points of difference are that: Scotland Tenancies under the Agricultural Holdings Acts 1991 and 2003 and the Land Reform Act 2016. The 1991 Act sets out the provisions for compensation for tenant&s;s improvements at waygo.
