Abstract
This article summarizes some studies from cellular foam applicable for permanent configuration. Cells closed by thin films or interlinked by pores. Foam isusedto absorb mechanical properties, heat exchange between liquid and solids henceforth permeable response lead interlinked cellular foam. Various foams are metallic foam, surgical foam, fire resistant building foam, etc. Adoption of light weight fabrication in auto sector has applied foam of polymer, and polymer composite foams to replace metallic portions.Open cell metal foam used as filter, mixer, electrode and catalyst.Techniques of forming polymer film results uniform foam without collapse. Acoustic waves are absorbed by foam-in-concretized processing. Dense pore in foam fin increase surface area of heat transfer on solar plates to raise efficiency of power generation.
