철학적 인간학이란? 그 이해와 방법

The question of philosophical anthropology has always been an integral part of the history of philosophy itself. This means that philosophy has already from beginning regarded the problem of the human self as main problem which is in thematic(explicit) or unthematic(implicit). And it suggests that the question of philosophy finally returns to philosophical anthropology as Kant asserted it. As far as every thing in the world is mediated by the human spirit as asserted by Hegel, so to is anthropological questioning already an integral and essential part of philosophical endeavor. In other words the philosophical anthropological viewpoint is already contained in the philosophical quest. This work is meant to be a research paper about understanding and method of philosophical anthropology which is relevant and meaningful among the various areas of philosophy. This paper searches 1) what is philosophical anthropology, 2) ongoing development of philosophical anthropology in the history of philosophy, 3) paradigms and methods of philosophical anthropology, 4) the new starting point of philosophical anthropology. The human being is just like an abyss which we can not penetrate in its depth. Philosophical anthropology inquires in to the universal and fundamental nature of human being. And this study is about the possibility of explaining the whole image from the total human phenomenon. Thus phenomenological, hermeneutical, metaphysical methods become first of all the basis of philosophical anthropological research. But we must not overlook the fact that we can never become capable of attaining a perfect knowledge of the human existence. The human being is rather the existence of human ``becoming``, he is never reaches ``perfect`` and ``complete`` existence.
