Abstract
Ideological and political education is an important content of college teaching. As the main component of higher education, private colleges and universities should bear the responsibilities and obligations of ideological and political education. The Three-wide Education model can effectively improve the teaching quality of private universities. Starting with the existing problems in the ideological and political education of private colleges and universities at the present stage, the analysis draws specific and feasible strategies for the construction of the Three-wide Education model to improve the core competitiveness of private colleges and universities and promote their sustainable development.
