Abstract
In the past 20 years' power demand has been increased drastically and it requires significant research attention to find the alternative green and sustainable energy sources. Solar energy and wind energy is considered as one of the most crucial energy sources, which are available in abundant amount in nature. The government of India has taken initiative towards the development of renewable energy in India as the country has a very rich capacity for wind energy. In this paper, an attempt has been made to analyze the basic control strategies of wind power plants with the help of Matlab Software.
