Abstract
Combining CO 2 and H 2 for chemo- and regioselective hydroformylation of alkenes has been realized. The key to success is the use of a bifunctional Rh/PTA catalyst, which can ingeniously combine efficient CO 2 hydrogenation and hydroformylation.
