Abstract
The issues of improving the efficiency and reliability of the power supply to the gas industry electrical complexes with generating equipment based on gas turbine power plants have been considered. The use of a binary cycle to improve the energy efficiency of gas turbine power units of self-contained power plants has been justified. The use of the trigeneration operating mode of the gas turbine power units at the gas industry infrastructure facilities in the conditions of high ambient temperatures and elevation above sea level has been justified. The studies of applying the binary cycle and trigeneration at power units of self-contained power plants of electrical complexes of the gas industry facilities described herein will allow operating power plants with high efficiency (at least 60 %) even in the most adverse conditions for a gas turbine engine. The solutions proposed will allow significantly improving the reliability and energy efficiency of electrical complexes in the gas industry.
