Abstract
This paper represents the morphology of the iron oxide of medium carbon, low carbon steel and high carbon steel with the help of SEM micrographs and EDX analysis. This paper includes the study on high temperature corrosion of medium carbon steel specimens, study the highest oxidation layer thickness. Cross-section of the medium carbon steel or low carbon steel specimen are studied under this paper.
