Abstract
A current mirror is a part of an electrical circuit that mirrors the input current to another electrical branch, i.e. the output current, while keeping it constant regardless of the electrical load. The main components of a current mirror are matched transistors. Depending on the type of transistor in the current mirror, there are: NPN and PNP current mirrors. This final thesis describes bipolar junction transistors, current mirrors (NPN and PNP), types of modified current mirrors: multi-output, base compensated, emitter degenerated, cascode, Widlar and Wilson current mirror. The simulation of the mentioned current mirrors in the LTSpice program was performed.
