Abstract

This article presents the philosophy of Liberal Arts Education in the development of higher education programs. It addresses the urgency of liberal arts education and provides the definitions of liberal arts education and its characteristics. The article also states that every student is suitable for that approach. In addition, it also explains why liberal arts education is appropriate for developing countries and analyzing the obstacles that liberal arts education is facing. Finally, this article proposes to implement liberal arts education in the higher education training program in Vietnam.
