Abstract
Credit insurance is the optimal solution for appropriate protection in credit risks when performing financial transactions in international trade. The major objective of the credit insurance is securing of the export credit/ the foreign claim and compensation of the damage if the insured event happens. Credit insurance provides security for the exporters when they sell goods on credit in terms of the payment of their claims insured with credit insurance. In case of realization of the credit risks covered with the insurance policy, the insurer has an obligation to pay the damages.
