Abstract
D-branes on orbifolds with and without discrete torsion are analysed in a unified way using the boundary state formalism. It is found that in both cases the theory possesses D-branes whose world-volume carries conventional and projective representations of the orbifold group. For the example of the Z_2xZ_2 orbifold it is shown that the resulting D-brane spectrum is consistent with T-duality.
