Abstract
In the experiment teaching of computer network DNS course, domain names among students cannot communicate with each other, because the self-defined domain name is not authorized by the official ROOT DNS server of the Internet. The paper focuses on setting up a root domain simulation platform to simulate the root domain name and the top-level domain name server in the internal network of the campus. When students conduct DNS service experiments, they can achieve the same `real' effect as the resolution of internet domain name.
