Enlightenment of Elias’ process sociology on the study of sport sociology

In the 1960s and 1970s, Norbert Elias studied sport sociology by applying process sociology, worked out theories in process sociology, and expatiated on the enlightenment of process sociology on sport sociology. In terms of study perspective, Elias examined the functional value of sport, the origin of sport and the core evolution of modern sports systems from the perspective of process; in terms of study method, Alias guided the study of sport sociology by using open and dynamic comparative methods. Alias has enlightened a number of western scholars on making a study of sport sociology by applying process sociology.
