Abstract

The Garbage Monitoring System using IOT is design to solve the problems faced by the people and organization in managing their waste disposals. The system allows the user to keep watch on the garbage level in bins by utilizing IoT and sensing devices. The Ultrasonic sensor measure the level of garbage in bins using ultrasonic wave. The Raspberry Pi is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity to the system with IoT, gives the feasibility for monitoring the from remote place. Information of the dust bin status is delivered through SMS for garbage cleaning. The officials shall monitor the status of waste bins through web page. Weight sensor was utilized for measure and analyzes the urban and rural area Garbage. LEDs are used to indicate the status of dustbin.
