Abstract
Summary This chapter details the risks presented by harmful algal blooms (HABs) and the factors which influence their formation. The management options and their potential intentional and unintentional effects are also addressed. The management of a pond affected by reoccurring blooms is treated using a fairly straightforward application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine which of three management alternatives is best suited.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
