Teaching English for beginners in Montenegro

The wish and need for learning a foreign language in the twenty-first century is becoming more and more clear. English has been becoming a global language of the contemporary world, and because of this, in many countries; it is introduced at a very low level in the primary schools. This requirement is usually based on belief that the younger the children are the faster and easier is the adoption of foreign languages than adolescents and elderly people. Early introduction of the foreign language is appreciated because of the following reasons: (1) there are more years in which a students learns it; (2) 'little students learn a foreign language with pleasure (3) learning a foreign language develops possibilities of better understanding of other cultures and people who speak a foreign language. The aim of teaching a foreign language at an early age in education is that students get to know other forms of communication, apart from their mother tongue as well as to learn o use a foreign language in everyday situations in the context adequate for that age.
