Abstract
Abstract Livelihood in India is based mainly on agriculture. Climate changes substantially affects the agriculture by either increasing food prices or decreasing food production. Conventional farming requires exceptional soil condition along with natural mineral potency. It additionally requires labour cost and also utilizes tremendous amount of land and water resources. Seasonal crops can’t be grown throughout the year. To resolve this factors an agricultural approach that significantly cuts down the revenues alongside controlling essential elements such as pH and EC, temperature and humidity is necessary. This paper introduces a unique way of farming termed as hydroponics: farming in which use of sunlight and soil is completely debarred. Nutrient solutions are fed to the water wherein the roots are grown directly without soil. A microcontroller kit is connected to crops which fetches the sensors output and manages the temperature and humidity, water levels.
