Some emotional problems in gifted children development

Modern research show that gifted children are not only intellectually but also emotionally richer than the ordinary children of their age. Apart from a number of theories which explain and stress special conditions for development and solving the emotional problems of the gifted, this problem is still somehow left aside. Quoting the most frequent emotional problems of the gifted pupils and starting from the Dabrowsky's theory of positive disintegration the author offers some suggestions for the experts and the school, believing they could help better the emotional development of the gifted children.
