Abstract
The use of close-coupled canards to improve the flight characteristics of fighter and attack aircraft is currently being proposed. This report presents test data on the effect of such canards on a 25 deg leading edge sweep wing mounted low on a generalized body. The parameters investigated were canard deflection and position with the aircraft configured with and without a horizontal tail.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
