Abstract
The effective way to store the thermal energy is by using the phase change materials (PCMs). The latent heat thermal storage systems are widely used in solar engineering, heat pump, heating and cooling applications in buildings, and so forth. Large number of PCMs are available that melt and solidify at a wide range of temperatures, which attracts huge applications. This chapter summarizes the investigation and analysis of the available thermal energy storage systems incorporating PCMs for use in different applications.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
