Abstract
This map depicts both the bedrock geology and the general ages and distribution of Late Tertiary and Quaternary surficial deposits in the Maverick Mountain Quadrangle (see Figure 1). Mapping of the surficial deposits was based both on field observations and interpretation of color I :30,000-scale aerial photographs (taken in 1996) obtained from the Tonto National Forest in Phoenix. Field work was performed during January to April, 1998, and was continuous with mapping in the Lion Mountain quadrangle and the Boulder Mountain quadrangle. Map 1:24,000 scale and report.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
