Abstract
At the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (RIAR), complex methods and equipment are created and improved to study fuel element behavior under conditions characteristic of reactor accidents. These methods are considered to simulate some accidents either immediately in irradation (in-pile tests) or in post irradiation examination of individual fuel element characteristics (shielded cell testing). The MIR PVP-2 loop and MIR PVK-2 loops are used to test fuel elements of PWR type reactors and fast reactor fuel elements.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
