Abstract

Seven faunae of conodonts are recognized from the Triassic of Timor, Malaysia and Japan : Gondolella milleri, G. timorensis, G. mombergensis, G. navicula, Gladigondolella tethydis, Gl. malayensis and Gl. abneptis faunae. Except for the second and sixth ones, they agree quite well in their element with the faunae reported from Europe and North America. The forms belonging to the genera Gladigonolella and Gondolella are briefly described and partly emended. The stratigraphical usefulness of the Triassic conodonts is discussed.
