Abstract

There are many changes in the management of type 2 diabetes and the many combination therapies now available for glucose lowering are causing confusion among both patients and prescribers. This article aims to encourage pharmacists to check that people with diabetes are taking the best available medications to achieve good glycaemic control and reduction of risk factors.
