Abstract
Fourniers gangrene is a rare fatal polymicrobial soft tissue infection of perineum, perianal region and external genitalia. It is a form of necrotizing fasciitis. It is aggravated more in diabetics, immunocompromised patients. Immediate fluid resuscitation, parenteral broad spectrum antibiotics with insulin therapy if needed & surgical debridement should be planned. Post operatively, after healthy wound and negative pus culture, patient is planned for reconstruction of the raw area by various wound closure techniques. We report a successful reconstruction of scrotum with help of split thickness skin grafting in our patient of Fourniers gangrene.
