Značaj volontiranja u neprofitnim organizacijama

This paper examines nonprofit organizations and volunteers in nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit organizations can be defined as organizations that serve the pursuit of a particular public interest, but their primary purpose is not making a profit. Nonprofits would not be able to operate successfully without the help of volunteers. Volunteers are helpers, but they are also drivers of positive change and builders of responsible, active and humane communities. By volunteering, a person develops personal, social, organizational and professional competences that guarantee better and easier access to various jobs and daily life. The aim of this paper is to further explain the role of volunteers in nonprofit organizations, their importance in the organization and how the nonprofit relates to them. Nowadays, volunteer work is increasingly appreciated. Volunteering at a non-profit organization brings many benefits. A person who has volunteered at a non-profit organization can easily get the job they want because today, a large number of employers value volunteer work.
