Abstract
The sustainable development of HVACR the authors show that low GWP blends with excellent performances can be proposed; the need to compromise between GWP and flammability is emphasized. However, it is known from the example of mobile air conditioning with 1234yf that a proper risk analysis can in some cases, guarantee the safe use of moderately flammable blends (A2L according to ASHRAE classification).
