GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN PEMELIHARAAN KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT IBU HAMIL YANG BERKUNJUNG KE PUSKESMAS ABANG I KABUPTEN KARANGASEM TAHUN 2019

Maintaining dental and oral health during pregnancy aims to prevent dental and oral health problems during pregnancy. Dental and oral health is one of the things that need to be considered. Poor dental and oral health conditions can have an impact on pregnancy such as preterm birth, and babies with low birth weight (LBW). The purpose of this study is to describe the knowledge of dental and oral health care for pregnant women who visit the Abang I. Health Center. This type of research is descriptive in nature involving 30 pregnant women who visited the Abang Health Center I. Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire with the type of data collected using primary data. The results showed that the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the maintenance of dental and oral health visiting the Abang I Community Health Center was mostly in the criteria of less than 17 people (56.7%), while the average score of knowledge was 54.3 less, average average knowledge of dental and oral health care based on education level, most of them with elementary education, the average score is 45 criteria less the lowest juniorhigh scool education and the average score of 48,3 education with less criteria.Conclusions from this study are the average maintenance knoledge of dental and oral health of pregnant women most of the visiting Abang Health Center I in 2019 are in poor criteria.
