Abstract
Financial globalization and financial integration are, in principle, different concepts. Financial globalization is an aggregate concept that refers to increasing global linkages created through cross-border financial flows. Financial integration refers to an individual country's linkages to international capital markets. These concepts are closely related. For instance, emerging trends, increasing financial globalization is performance associated with increasing financial integration on average and financial market strategies in India.
