Abstract

We report the first record of the invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Pseudococcidae) in Algeria. It was found on Citrus lemon (L) Osbeck (Rutaceae) in the Rouïba region [36° 43′N 3° 16′E].
