Analysis on 4500 outpatient antibiotic prescriptions in our hospital, 2010-2011

Objective To analyze the application of the antibiotic prescriptions in our hospital,promoting the reasonable drug use.Methods 4500 outpatient antibiotic prescriptions in our hospital from 2010 to 2011 were analyzed retrospectively,applications of the prescriptions and the combination were analyzed and evaluated.Results Among 4500prescriptions,4429 prescriptions on rational,accounting for 98.42％; 71 prescription unreasonable,accounting for 1.58％;3125 single-agent antibiotic,accounting for 69.44％; two antibiotics used in combination accounted for 1013,22.51％,362used three-drug combination,accounting for 8.04％.Conclusion The hospital outpatient antibiotic prescribing application is reasonable,but still needs the active use of a variety of ways to avoid unreasonable phenomenon.Unreasonable drug use should be reported back to clinicians to promote reasonable application.
